WEEK 32

This week we went to the beautiful place called FORSA ÅN! It is south of Östersund. The water flows so beautifully in the river, ending in a nice waterfall. I did not make it to the water fall with Odin, but sis took a picture of it. The place is surrounded by perfect rocks to lay on. Odin loved it there. Was very curious about the water and loved putting his toes in it. I was a little biased since the water is SO cold. So he did not keep his toes in it for too long. Bianca stayed home from this adventure. She thought we were going the the swimming house and since we weren't she decided not to go. Last summer she went, and loved it.

WEEK 31

WEEK 30

This week was funfilled. (like everyone else ). We went to Jamtli. Jamtli is a wonderful place for everyone, but specially kids. We lucked out on gorgeous weather, and strolled around Jamtli for hours. Elise came along, and she and Bianca got to take a horse stroll. Bianca loves it, and she did it last summer too. I think it will be standard. Bianca also got lucky and had a very nice mommy today and she got to go on the carousel. A very old school one. SO cool. Everything about Jamtli is old school. It takes you back in time more than a hundred years, it is very, very neat.

Odin turned 7 months this week. He is getting big as you can see. Standing really well and all. Starting to want to move from thing to thing now as well. He is also very good with his balance now, and we do not have to worry about him falling flat backwards anymore. He is in control and sits down on his own now. Sweet.

Bianca and her friend Linn, went in the (ice) cold water and had a good time. I stayed out. Gosh it is freezing. But the kids never seem to be cold. Bianca even sleeps without covers, and I always have to cover up all the way to my chin. She just kicks it all off. CRAZY!!!

We also took a trip to moster Catrines stuga on the lake. It is so beautiful there. Again we lucked out on the weather. It was gorge. We went in the boat on the lake. And ate dinner on the lake shore. Odin enjoys the outdoors very much although since he is so movablem it is a bit hard to keep him still.

Bianca has gotten really good at playing cards. She has played a lot with us here, momma and me. But also her friend Eric and his grandma. She has learned terms and such. It is very cool. And I happen to love cards, so that is really awesome we can play together and maybe make it to VEGAS someday !!!!!

One day we went strawberry picking. When we got there the rain started to come down and Bianca who usually likes to pick , just said let us get on home. It is raining mom. And so I picked some for that day, to eat for dessert and that was it. But at least we went and I love the feeling of hand picked fruit. YUM!!!

Also we have introduec the potty for Odin. He sits on it and if we are lucky the timing is right and what is supposed to go in , goes in. He likes the potty and we put him on it every once in a while. I think it helps them learn faster. If not then it is at least a fun thing to do.
