WEEK 14

This week has been all about Bianca and her turning 5! Wow, big 5!! Crazy how big you are my little girl! You are proving you are the big girl you are by how you do things. You are such a great helper to me, and you are so easy going it is just so much fun to have you around ALL THE TIME!! You have talked a lot about having your ears pierced when you turn 5 but then lately you haven't mentioned it so I am not bringing it up, but letting you decide if you still want to do it. If you have decided you want to wait that is great. No hurry to do such a thing. So this friday was your birthdya. Kalima was here to celebrate with us. She came in on Wednesday night. I surprised you in the morning with a couple of gifts and a fun balloon on the second floor as you got out of your bedroom. Then when you came into the dining room there was a table full of gifts for you and another funky fun birthday balloon. You opened presents for a while. You also had already gotten a package from momma and moffa so you opened that. Later on a package arrived from aunt and uncle and cousins in Sweden. Fun fun fun !! AND even later another package arrived from auntie Andrea. WOW, presents all day. Fun fun fun. Then the next day was your big party. You seemed to be a bit nervous about it up until this day, but today your nerves seemed to have calmed. At 10.30 we had your party at Fort De Soto park. We had lots of funky, sparkly beads for everyone to bead something. That was a big hit, even amongst the adult men. Ha ha funny!! And we also did the fishing game, which is very popular game in Sweden, that was also a BIG hit amongst everyone. Of course we had cake, such a pretty, lovely tasting cake. And you opened more presents. WOW! Great stuff. 13 children attended your party. WOW! We all except for 3 kids then went onto the beach and spent the rest of the day splashing in the waves. It was such a lovely day. Some of the kids exclaimed it was THE BEST party ever.
I was so pleased that everyone wanted to join in on the beach fun. And everyone enjoyed the chicken wraps that I had made as well. It was a great day!!!

Ok, so Odin slept though the night for the first time. WOW! He slept from 9.30 til 6 when I got him and had him eat, then he fell back asleep again til 8 am. WOHOOO! Hope you keep that up little man. Also it seems you are close to crawling. You are perfectly happy on your tummy for the longest time. You laugh out loud so much now. So cute. And when you smile, your eyes smile. You smize!! WEEK 13

Today the 4th you are turning 3 months old!!!! Oh MY GOSH! Wow you are getting big! And you are so strong. You can stand up for a loooong time now. And you look so proud when you do it. Like you are saying " look at me, look how cool I am ". It is very cute. And you talk, talk, talk and you are so quick at finding where noise is coming from and so fort. You turned for the first time this week. From back to stomach. And I missed it, I loked over and so you flip onto your stomach. I wanted to have filmed it. Bummer. And you like to be on your tummy. You can stay that way for a long while. It is cute. You like to see things fro that angle it seems. Good boy! This past week we have been chillin at the park, and you like to look at all the kids playing. We have hung out at Dori's house a lot. So much fun. You are so easy going it is a breeze to have you with me. And you charm anyone, really you do. Bianca is about to be 5 this coming Friday. WOW! 5 already. Big girl! She so badly wants to have her ears pierced, so I said she can. We will see if she decides differently when we actually go to do it. Either way will be just fine. This week Bianca made a new friend as you can see in one of the pictures. It is Winston, and he thought Bianca made a great chair!!! Kalima is coming to visit this week as well. She will not believe her eyes at how big Odin is. Such a different little boy.

WEEK 12

You talk you talk you talk! You talk so much now, very cute. You really try to connect with everyone that talk to you. A social butterfly perhaps. This week we have been at the beach, no surprise. You have spent a lot of time with your daddy, because he hasn't worked much. You like to hang with your daddy. You have been sporting hot pink together with your hot pink pacifier. You make it work!! You met a friend, the same age as you. And you talked his socks off. Bianca she has cut her own hair, luckily I caught her before it all came off. She did a pretty good job, actually created a hairstyle. Very cute! She has played a lot with her girl Caroline. We have been hanging at our downtown beach mostly this week, and one day we chilled most of the day at Caroline's house. Bianca loves it there, as much as Caroline loves to be at her house. Oh and Bianca she sleeps in her own bed now, doesn't get up once at night. She is happy to have her own room, her own cozy room. It is my favorite room in the house.
