WEEK 22

Odin you are so movable it is crazy. You practice your crawling a lot now. You scoot so fast it is crazy. I look one way and you have scooted the other. You are trying to figure out what it is that will make you crawl. I can see it. I don't think there is much more time though til you figure it out.

This week I took you to your 5 month appointment. Your eye with your blocked tear duct has been looking really bad with lots of gooey stuff, so we got some drops to give you. Also your one testicle have been looking bigger on occasion. The doc. said that it is a hernia. So we went to the specialist who immediately said you need to have surgery. But the kind you have, according to internet does not always need surgery but can go away on its own before your second birthday. I went ahead and looked on Swedish websites and there it says exactly that. That nothing is done to this particular hernia unless it does not go away by age 2. So I am thinking, USA wants money. SO any reason to have surgery let's bring it on. I was OK to wait with the surgery til after we have been to Sweden so I am going to get a second opinion there. FOR SURE!
You weighed 17 pounds 1 ounce and you hadn't gotten any taller. You are tall enough man. You are one heavy boy even though you are not at all chubby. Well, your legs are quite round, and I guess your heaviness is your length and your bones. Heavy, solid bones.

On Tuesday this week we picked up Kalima. She hasn't seen you guys in a month so she already sees a big change in you Odin, and in Bianca too, because you are such a swimmer now. And lately you are quite the dancer, singer-songwriter and performer. You want to change your name to Rhianna. Ok. I am trying to tell you that Bianca sounds kind of like Rhianna, almost, and that it is a cool name too. But you seem to stand your ground.

We have been to the pool this week a few times. Jackson is back in town, to Bianca's delight. So we met up with him and his family, swam and had fun. It was like it was yesterday that the two saw each other last, not a whole year. Such greatness.

Spent an awesome evening having dinner by the bay. The colors are so vivid and beautiful at night, and we see so many different animals. This night I saw only the fin of a dolphin, and I who was hoping to get some nice shots, but the water was too shallow this night and therefor there were no dolphinos coming up close. Better luck next time.
