WEEK 50

Odin you are hilarious!!! You love dancing no question about that. You have your favorites for sure. Katy Perry and now you dig Robyn. I am thinking it is something with their music that gets you going. You start rocking and getting down low. Oh too cute. And of course a BIG smile on your face. You also really do have a very strong mind. You see something you want you point strongly and directly at it. Sometimes I get  you the wrong thing and then you will shake your head or make a noise and point again. Very smart little dude.

You are totally sneek practicing walking. As soon as we look at you you slide down to sitting as if you weren't just trying to get your walk on. You will then instead start crawling so fast and sometimes  you get up on your four feet or two hands and feet and sort of run like that. SO funny!

You are a big boy so I am going to change your car seat now. You are 10 kilos, which is not super heavy or anything but right on the measurements for normal so to say. I think you have my metabolism, burn calories while sleeping so to speak. But on the other hand, the speedy crawler that you are will not keep anything on our body for sure. I am gonna call you "SLIM". I haven't measured your length but I am guessing you are already over 80 cm. Gotta go get that measure, not that it matters but it is still fun to know.

Today you had your first taste of a candy cane. I gave it to you to play with but you managed to get the plastic off it and were sucking away, bet you loved it. :)

The Christmas tree is being left alone. You are such a good boy. It is as if  you know it shouldn't be touched. I love you, you are so smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On friday auntie Andrea came down just in time to celebrate Christmas. Kalima and her had been to Philadelphia and New York for a few days. But they were dying to get to come down and be with you kids as the day approached. What can be better than seeing the joy on little kids faces as they open their gifts??? Odin you were so funny, watching the gifts on the floor by the tree, which you had not touched at all. And all of a sudden you were allowed to grab them. You sat by the tree looking and thinking of which gifts to grab. So cute. You were very good at getting the stuff out of its papers. Very fun to watch you!! Bianca you were the master opener of course. You all got some very  nice things. And also we gave some nice things too. ;)
